i’m currently based in brooklyn, ny.
I am a painter and collage artist fascinated with mixed identities. I use bold shapes as symbols of my own mixed identity–I am Mexican, Chinese, American, an artist, a scientist, a woman, a descendant of immigrants–and I explore the harmony created when they converge. My art aims to convey these collisions in graphic ways. I seek to balance opposites and extremes, especially focusing on minimalism/maximalism, chaos/order, and the surreal/simple. In everything I do, I celebrate color and invite play.

My prints featured on Palomarin are a random assortment of my creative explorations. That being said, I'm consistently inspired by the sun, the moon, the ocean, and everything else in between.
